I was throwing up all morning, boohoo. I'm feeling a little better now, but I probably won't go to school again tomorrow. I've decided I have the worst immune system known to mankind.

finally

I got my new laptop! Ah, a computer that's all mine. After my last computer broke almost two years ago, and I was using everyone else's computers... it's a really nice one too! It'll be good to get back on track with my internet addiction.

I have super bad cramps today. I'm not going to rehearsal because we're doing choreo and dancing? Not happening when I'm in this much pain. I'll just pimp out my computer instead.

This past week I got my acceptance letter to Fairleigh Dickinson University! They're giving me a $18,750 scholarship, for each year, and that's not even including the FAFSA, school and national scholarships!

I'm very excited. I'm still waiting to hear back from Montclair, sure, but I want to go already! Finally I'm taking the necessary steps in life. College is only a few months away, and I'll be a new person, I'll start over, a better person. :3

I totally forgot I had a Pinterest! My mom introduced me to it when it first came out, and she invited me... I used it for like a week, haha. But I've deleted all my old boards and I'm going to start using it again. Follow me if you're interested!

i am now deaf in one ear

My right ear has been clogged since yesterday. This rarely happens to me, so when it does, it is the absolute worst thing ever, sigh. I've been using the heat pack/steam method starting this morning, and I can feel it loosening. So hopefully it will go away soon! If not, I'll definitely be calling the doctor.

I had my heart set on college. Escaping this small town, getting away from my family, starting my higher education, formulating life plans. I just wanted to start anew, refresh my life. But, things are slowly crashing around me. I have no job, no car, no money. My parents can't help me pay for college, and I have no personal savings of my own. I have no car to get me out of here and help me find a job.

So, for now, looks like I'll be stuck here a little longer. I'm starting to apply at every stupid little local place I can think of, hoping one of them will hire my sorry ass. So far, no dice, but I must be hopeful. When I get the money, I'll buy a car. I'll be putting some away to save up for school. And we'll see where life takes me then.

Today was the first read-through for my school's musical - we're doing "Xanadu"! Exciting, I know, haha. Our director decided to torture us and not tell us our roles until the read-through. But, I'm quite proud and happy, as I got one of the main roles :3 For my first and last musical, it's going to be a blast! Time to be Calliope, muse of epics!

theatre/forensics competition

Today was my first theatre competition (Forensics) since last year! I did a dramatic pair with my best friend, and it was so much fun. We didn't win anything but we didn't go to win - we went to have a good time. We did really well though, getting 88 in the first round and 92 in the second - out of a possible 100. Can't wait for February 11th!

I'm about to go out to Olive Garden with friends and the boyfriend for some unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. nomnomnom~

water, the source of life

Trying to kickstart eating less and drinking more. They say you should drink 2 liters of water a day. So far I've had 1.5! I'm getting there.

I have a horrible relationship with food and calories and all of that, which I probably won't talk about here. But I think it's healthy to be drinking more water. Actually, I know it's healthy.

sick day

Spending my day coughing up my lungs in my room. Maybe I'll get up and do that inspiration poster project I've been meaning to do for ages. Schoolwork can wait.

I feel shitty and I just want to play Skyrim or see my boyfriend but I can't do either, what a surprise.
